Description

Lecture by OCAP member Gaetan Heroux on November 9th,
at the University of Toronto.
Based on a paper by Gaetan & Brian Palmer ‘Cracking the Stone’: The Long History of Capitalist Crisis and Toronto’s Dispossessed', Geatan relates the tremendously interesting, largely unknown history of resistance to draconian measures by the poor in Toronto, roughly from the 1830's to the 1930's.
