Description

I love to have guests on my show, but I wanted to have a heart to heart with my audience on this episode. I did not publicly announce my pregnancy until the 3rd trimester to give myself the space I needed to navigate the constant changes involved in this process. As a Physician, this was even more consequential as we’re still battling a pandemic and there’s another wave on the horizon.

Millennials are known to speak our minds. We have a reputation for being bold, brave and empowered in ways that generations before us haven’t been. With levels of stress, burnout, anxiety and depression on the rise, it was important to share how this was all impacting me, as a millennial.

I consider myself a health advocate for my generation and one of the most important ways to advocate is to share our stories -- when we’re ready.
