Description

Our one to last episode (not the last one, as said in the introduction) about data and surveillance. This time I talk to psychoanalyst and university professor Jan de Vos, author of the book The Digitalisation of (Inter)Subjectivity. We discuss why civilization and the human being are becoming more and more psychologised, while it is pertinent that we understand the subject as a radically empty space. Can psychoanalysis serve as a critique of the digital and its (neuro)psychological models in order to prevent our subjectivities from becoming self-fulfilling images, closing off the openness of the future? Find out for yourself!
