If you have been in step with our parent organization, rebelle with a cause inc., you may know that our founder was impacted by childhood domestic violence and through her career in the beauty industry an avenue was opened up to support women and girls experiencing relationship abuse.

We intentionally use lowercase for "rebelle with a cause" because we believe that no woman's story, no individual's journey, is more important than another's. We stand together, united in our shared experiences and collective strength.

A few months ago our founder was fortunate to have a seat on a panel discussion with three community artivists hosted by the multi-hyphenated Jasmine Washington founder of The First of Many as they spoke about turning pain into power: transforming trauma into art, impact and purpose. 

We will only be sharing our Founder’s why on this episode but do follow Jasmine Washington for her wonderful work in the community.
