Description

Three weeks after her bilateral mastectomy, Erin began physical therapy with Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Physical Therapist and Founder of #OurTribe, Jennifer Nicolla Rai. Jenni’s experience in the world of breast cancer as a physical therapist led her to create Hashtag Our Tribe, a space for young women with breast cancer. Kappa Kappa Cancer and #OurTribe work hand in hand to reach as many people as possible and help guide them through the scary and foreign world of breast cancer treatment, while also providing the emotional support that is difficult to find.

I would like to know, how your dealing with the lack of sensation in your breasts? I had a bilateral mastectomy in February 2018, I opted for reconstruction surgery, but my nipples could not be saved. So I pretty much hate looking at myself and my boobs hurt all the time. Implants are uncomfortable, but I don't know if it's psychological or truly physical? I don't like letting my husband touch them or even see them.. Please lend some advice or even the support that I am not crazy and this happens.. thanks so much for your podcasts!!
