Everton’s challenging start to the season continues on Saturday afternoon as the Blues welcome Crystal Palace, with both teams looking for their first win of the season. 

The news of an impending takeover at Goodison Park from The Friedkin Group has certainly lifted the spirits amongst Blues’ fans this week, however it’s on the pitch where Everton now need to put things right. 

Sean Dyche may well be back to full strength given that Jarrad Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson featured for the U21s on Sunday. 

Branthwaite’s return can’t come soon enough given the fact Everton have leaked goals in their opening five games.
