Description

Governance is a social contract and two-way process. Both are influenced and a product of the social perceptions if not the culture of the society in which the institution exists.

In Sierra Leone, a culture of governance that is more of a mixture of pre and post-colonial perceptions and attitudes has been a passive factor influencing the growth and development of first nationhood and next to a strong and sustainable economic foundation that can proper development. Sixty-one years after independence with vast resources, Sierra Leone still remains a poverty-ridden, aid-dependent country.

Why and how this can be mitigated is what shall be the focus of this talk show.
