Description

In this episode I'm joined by embodied language coach, author, speaker, and Spanish multilingual poetry teacher María Ortega García.

María ha been described as having "so much quiet wisdom" and after interviewing her I wholeheartedly agree.

We set out to discuss Maria's unique approach to language teaching and in doing so she revealed an approach, a way of being, that can be applied to many endeavours - and at the heart of it is an invitation to a different way of living.

In this conversation, we explore:

•María's personal journey with shyness & self-expression
•Embodied language coaching: what it means and why it is different
•How people learn best (hint: it's not sitting in a classroom)
•The myth of consistency and a surprising perspective on achieving results
•Tips for overcoming hurdles in learning a language and sticking with it
•The importance of poetry, movement and storytelling to learning
•And much more!

If you are curious about a gentler, more present and joyful approach to life and learning then this episode provides a fresh perspective you may not have considered before.
