Episode Summary:

Maddie meets with Thomas' estranged aunt Deidre, who guilt trips her into donating to Deidre's charity for disadvantaged children. Despite Thomas' skepticism, Maddie falls for the ruse and gives Deidre money from Thomas' account behind his back.

When Thomas exposes the charity as fraudulent, Maddie realizes she was tricked. Their fight escalates until Thomas cancels their trip as punishment. They later reconcile, with Thomas making a charity donation himself to be "nice for a change." Their clashing personalities are evident but so is their enduring, if dysfunctional, friendship.
