They also discuss the decision by USC defensive tackle Bear Alexander to step away and redshirt this season instead of continuing his role as a rotational player on the Trojans defensive line.
This is the first week of full Big Ten conference action, with every game being a conference matchup. The only two teams on byes this week are Iowa and Northwestern.
