Throughout scripture, trees are mentioned more than any living thing other than humans or God. This week we have been reading, reflecting, and praying about how God uses trees from Genesis through Revelation as an image of creation, promises, prophecy, redemption, freedom, and flourishing. Today, we will explore three specific passages from the prophecy of Isaiah that uniquely highlight trees, mountains, and plants.
