About Dany from my intro to the show: Streaming in from Canada, Dany is a well educated lawyer that is really just beginning his professional music career.  Though he was writing poetry in his teens, and has been performing original songs for years since, he is only just set to release his first studio album in the the coming weeks.  That album titled, “Free Times,” is reminiscent of classic folk which has been described by some as straddling the line between Cat Stevens and The Eagles in a fold-rock sound.  For years he has been performing many of his original songs—and covers—at open mic nights, and on his YouTube channel.

The first song featured on the show is a rough cut of what will be the first single off of Dany’s album, coming out this summer.  He played three other songs live.  Dany is the second guest for the Favorite Cover Songs playlist theme, and he stayed on for the second hour to share some of his knowledge about each song played.
