October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Jody Kerns with Regional Medical Center’s Radiology department says it’s an exciting time of the year to help bring awareness.
Gen White says women should start getting yearly mammograms at the age of 40.
Kerns encourages all women to take time for themselves this month.
Regional Medical Center is offering Twilight Mammograms tonight for those who aren’t able to get there during the day. RMC says those appointments are now filled.
