Currently, she is Senior Advisor, Policy, Advocacy & Communications and Director, Adult Vaccines, at the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC), Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH), where she leads efforts to support and advocate for immunization across the life course, including forming alliances to call for strengthening platforms for adult immunization, an effort now gaining traction in preparation for COVID-19 vaccines.  To support advocacy efforts, her team developed the Value of Immunization Compendium of Evidence (VoICE), a widely used tool for messaging on the broad value of vaccines.  Her work spans community level projects in Baltimore City, advocacy & advice for national vaccine policy and global support for the World Health Organization and other partners.

She frequently writes and speaks about COVID-19 vaccine introduction, calling for  strengthened platforms for vaccine delivery and implementation, particularly for adults. Collaborating with Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, she contributed to reports and advocacy for a greater public role in COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and an ethical framework for vaccine allocation and distribution.

She joined JHSPH in 2005 ,working on the Hib Initiative and PneumoADIP addressing global inequities and transforming access to new vaccines.  Prior to JHSPH, she held senior commercial and R&D strategy roles at Wyeth (now Pfizer) and GSK.  She holds a master of International Business Studies (University of South Carolina) and bachelor of science in Business Administration (SUNY Albany) as well as certificates in Innovation and Human Centered Design and Business Communications from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
