What happens when a family faced with an extreme medical crisis approaches a traditional law firm with concerns about paying for their health care expenses or worried about keeping the family home? Instead of being met with compassion and clarity, the family typically experiences confusion, frustration, and high legal fees. That was the painful reality Jeffrey Bellomo’s family faced when he was a young law student, and his mother became seriously ill. As a result, Jeff promised his mother that he would find a better way to work with families.  

The evolution of Bellomo & Associates is based on a vision of a new kind of estate planning and elder care law firm—one dedicated to free education for people working in health care, finance, and the law, as well as members of the community. Jeff shares the story that shaped his firm.
