This week, Arizona State Representative Daniel Hernandez, Jr. joins us on the pod. Daniel is a dynamic and rising leader in Arizona politics. We met circa 2008 at our alma mater, the University of Arizona. Our discussion takes us through Daniel's path to service, as well as how some transformational experiences have shaped his hopeful approach to life. 

Daniel's life changed in January 2011, when he saved the life of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords by rendered medical aid in the wake of a senseless shooting at a Congress On Your Corner event. Daniel shares about how that event has impacted his life and his approach to leadership.
