"You big lumbering land mammal you..." That's how Ricky Gervais greeted Brad Blanks on the phone with the big show during our interview!

Ricky is no stranger to controversy, and we talked about some of his best moments through his comedic history. We also got into his amazing new hit Netflix show "After Life" which is renewed for season 2. "After Life" has been praised by critics for handling death and depression in a realistic yet heartwarming way.

Ricky’s found a renewed love for stand-up comedy, saying he's "gotten thousands of hateful tweets and worked it into his act."  He continues "if life throws you lemons, you make lemonade, and that's exactly what i do with all the outrage, i turn it into something positive."

Ricky is playing the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden May 14th, 2020 as part of his “Super Nature” stand up tour.
