Description

On this weeks episode of the Eb n Flow podcast, Ebony is joined in the studio by the lovely Rochelle Bishop. Rochelle is a digital creator, social media influencer and proud mother to 6. Who uses her social media platform to showcase her lifestyle, whilst also giving a raw and real account of motherhood.

In light of her most recent experience navigating the horrors of online predators and their exploitation of children, she joins us today to discuss her own personal experience navigating this within her family.

Whilst also highlighting the lessons she has learnt and measures she has now taken to ensure the safety of her children. As our dependency on devices grows, so does the rates of online child exploitation and grooming.

According to the ACCCE in 2021 alone there was over 33,000 reports made to the ACCCE triage regarding online exploitation and grooming of children.

So how do we keep our children safe when so much of our daily lives revolves around devices and easy access to the Internet?

This episode aims to give you an insight in to the reality of how common online predators are. As well as touching on ways in which we can educate ourselves and educate our children on the safe use of our devices.

This is a must listen for all parents and adults in general. It is up to us to open these conversations and speak about this so we can keep our children safe.

Enjoy. XX
