Alex Haraus is a full-time outdoor photographer, who initially grew up finding adventure in Chicago. After discovering "roof topping" and urban exploration, he eventually traveled west and worked with organizations such as Americorps to take part in backcountry trail building. But Alex's real passion is 'Rugged Conservation,' which is basically using adventure photography as a hook to teach others about climate change and conservation by encouraging them to develop their own relationship with nature.
