Hello family, and welcome to Day 40 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena.  I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so grateful you’re here today.

Before we begin, I want to thank each of you who continues to pray with us every day. Entering our 40th day is a grace, and I’m thankful for this community that chooses prayer, hope, and perseverance.

This part of the novena is prayed in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already answering our intentions; healing for those in recovery, peace in the world, and the intentions of every person praying with us.

Today we reflect on a truth many of us learn the hard way: discipline leads to freedom.  Discipline is not punishment. It’s a choice — a daily choice — to live in a way that supports peace, healing, and purpose.

Real freedom doesn’t come from doing whatever we feel. It comes from choosing what helps us grow. It comes from putting boundaries around our time, our habits, our thoughts, and even our relationships.

Recovery requires discipline. Prayer requires discipline. Healing requires discipline. But discipline is not something we do on our own, God gives us the grace to begin again every day.

If you are rebuilding your life after addiction, loss, or difficulty, remember: every small disciplined choice is a step toward freedom.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, give me the discipline to choose what is good,
so I may live in the freedom You desire for me.”

 If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself  what is one small disciplined choice I can make today that will lead me toward spiritual freedom?

 Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we pray in thanksgiving for every person learning to live with discipline, purpose, and renewed strength.

We pray especially for: Alicia, Carla Maria, Daniel, Dani, Garret, Grace, Irene, Jarvis, Josephine, Judy, Lilly, Lizeth, Mariana, Mariela, Marlene, Monica, Nancy, Nieves, Ofelia, Olivia, Rose, Soraia, Suz, Therese, Tita, Ursua, Yasmine.We also lift up Briana and Maria Delfina. And we pray for all celebrating birthdays, especially Jaime, Chamylle, and Gracen. Blessed Mother, bring peace, joy, and protection over their new year of life.
