In this episode, we are chatting about asset management, specifically in large industrial sites and facilities.
Take for example, a large pharmaceutical factory. Typically, it would have around 30,000 – 40,000 fixed assets, including motors, transmitters, and other fixed equipment. Locating required parts can be extremely time-consuming, and not to mention expensive as it requires extensive personnel. Locating assets faster and with ease could bring these facilities into the future through the use of intelligent mapping.
