Internalized oppression is something that hinders many from becoming their authentic selves and we tend to operate inside of the mental confines of that internalized oppression. If we are stuck in a place of self-sabotage, we may sabotage the collective. If we step out of that place and practice mastering authentic selves, we can contribute to the collective more powerfully.
