S3 E3: A health special, with advice about the perimenopause, anxiousness and improving your strength
Description
Stay strong… did you know that even lifting up tins of beans can benefit your muscles?
We’ve got a lot to fit into episode three, including a look at how we can make strength training part of our everyday lives – whether you’re a regular parkrunner or just thinking about getting a bit fitter. We’re shining a light on the menopause and perimenopause, hormonal changes that have a huge impact on some women. We’re also sharing a story written by NHS consultant psychiatrist doctor Shahnaz Hassan, focusing on strategies we can use when we’re feeling anxious or stressed.
