In this episode of The Life 101, Episode 2 “The Authentic Bronx Tale” Larry Mazza and I meet with good friend Sal Francisoa. Sal grew up in the Bronx in the 1960s/1970s while Larry grew up in the Brooklyn side of town during the same era it was a great interest to compare and contrast the two boroughs of NY. Sal discussed childhood and getting into the game which ended in the deviation loss of his brother. Sal was a construction laborer and eventually ran his own entity. Later on and present-day Sal got into acting after being influenced by a close from Vinny Vella who played roles in Casino, Analyze That, To kill an Irishman, and many more. Sal became a producer and pushed out a couple of great movies of his own most recently featuring some fighters from The UFC called “Fight Valley”, Sal played Geno in this film. Sal talks about the business and gets talked about stories with Frank Lucas, Chuck Zito, and many more. Sal gives advice to future actors wanting to get into the business. This is a great episode with many topics of discussion.
