Setting Boundaries in Real Life: How saying "No" can be crucial in your health journey
Description
A huge part of Functional Medicine involves diving into daily life and identifying stressors or things in our patients lives that are contributing to their state of stress (including mental, emotional, physical stress etc.). So many times we find that our patients need permission to place healthy boundaries on different things that may cause them to feel overwhelmed, overextended, overworked, overstressed and exhausted. In this episode, we discuss all of the various stressors in life and how to create healthy boundaries in work, relationships, home life, chores, exercise, nutrition, mental health and more. We also discuss how these stressors impact our overall health and a few case studies on how health has been improved by simply learning to say "NO".
We now have our "Test your hormones at home" course that walks you through an advanced hormone panel. It gives you step by step instructions on how to collect your kit, how to interpret your results and what to do to correct any hormone imbalances you may have!
