As an Indian American woman, Shobha Philips had a hard time finding nude bras that would match her skin tone. Finding underwear that is ethically made as well, was near impossible. In 2017, she started Proclaim, a new brand of inclusive intimates designed and made ethically in L.A. In this episode, Shobha comes back on how she transitioned from a corporate job in San Francisco to starting her own underwear line with no background in fashion. We talk about sourcing materials, the power of instagram, and how small details can have a big impact.
