Welcome to the fourth 'Show & Tell' edition of ArtyParti - a live podcast recording hosted at Port Independent in Sunderland.

Artists & creatives of various disciplines are invited to "step up to the microphone" to share recent projects, the process behind their work, and the lessons they've learned along the way. This is a critically supportive community - inviting the audience to share reflections on each project, and celebrate creative practice.

We’ve had five ArtyParti Show & Tell events so far - and we have a sixth on the horizon! Auburn Langley - Writer, & Director of the Sunderland Lit & Phil Society

Alongside a series of hand-drawn pumpkins and calligraphy, Auburn Langley introduces her text-based choose-your-own adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic Sunderland, which she’s developing as a political education tool.

Sarah Drummond - Vegan Creative

Returning to Show & Tell, a collage of words and imagery, as Sarah Drummond invites us to turn the pages of a collaged sketch-book that’s 5 years in development, and hear poetry that recounts Sarah turning over the pages of a new decade.

Carrie McGovern - Contemporary Romance Author

Contemporary Romance Author Carrie McGovern has four self-published books under her belt in her ‘Hello’ series, which promise “messy, heart-felt romance”, but Carrie’s latest project is written from dual perspectives.

Anthony Deligiannis - Animator & Games Artist

After graduating from the University of Sunderland, Anthony Deligiannis unfurls posters and fabric prints that represent a degree’s worth of animation and games art.
