So signing statements are a thing that has been around since pretty much as long as the United States has, but was rarely used until Mike was born. After that, all hell broke loose and not only were they used more often, they were perverted entirely. It’s not like they don’t already have a tool in their pocket to use when they disagree with a law, but instead they choose this. To find out more about how presidents are usurping legislative authority with little to no push back.
