Meet Esteban Solano, a Mexican living in Québec, Canada, and the host of the Solano Travel Podcast. Esteban is an artist, musician, comedian and chef who, since 2020, has also been a podcaster.
 
He launched Solano Travel to share the stories of his adventures through places like Greece, Hungary, Montenegro and Turkey, from wild nights to dodging passport controls.

It has evolved into a platform to introduce people to his native Mexico, and encourage them to really see and explore the country, to buy local and get off the beaten path. Esteban points out there is European-style cultural and linguistic diversity, yet all within one country.
 
Simultaneously however, Esteban found he had an audience in Mexico following him and his adventures, and wanting more advice about travel options and destinations.
 
Hence a "2-in-1" style podcast, which caters to both Spanish speaking and English speaking audiences, by alternating episodes in each language.
 
There's a bit of something for everyone, whether it's improv comedy, understanding Mexican cuisine, Salsa dancing (in Québec no less), snapshots of places around the world from Italy to Melbourne to Israel, all with a joyful, lighthearted spirit.
 
Solano Travel is coming into two years of steady growth and creativity, so follow along with Esteban and his photographer partner Anna as they develop more exciting projects and ideas over the coming months.
