The word was out; after 31 years the world was finally exposed to her own definitive and personal documentation of her life with a legend that is Marvin Gaye. Primarily silent since Marvin's tragic death Jan share with Steve the why it took so long and the therapeutic aspects of her life as an author.
As with our previous encounters I found Jan to be candid and blatantly honest about her emotions and why this memoir serves as a vehicle to help others through the torrid effects of abuse and addiction.
