Soybeans and soymeal futures experienced a downturn in the New Years Eve trading session, with soybeans dropping eleven to twelve cents and soymeal ending steady to two dollars ten cents per ton lower. The national average cash bean price also fell twelve cents to nine dollars sixty-seven cents. Despite the drop, soy oil futures climbed seven to fifteen points. The USDA weekly export sales report showed a miss in soybean sales, but an increase in soy oil sales. January twenty twenty-six soybeans closed at ten dollars thirty-four and a half cents, down eleven and three-quarters cents. Markets will be closed Thursday for New Years Day and reopen Friday.
