Special Edition: First Flight High School’s Student-Built Airplane at Wright Brothers National Memorial
Description
In this special edition of the podcast, First Flight Aviation Lead Rear Admiral JT Tynch (U.S. Navy, Ret.) joins mentors Peter Fynn, Tim Ribble and Bob Newman along with students Alex Sharp, Jorge Flores and Sam Sabora to talk about the remarkable work happening inside the First Flight High School aviation program.
Over the past two and a half years, students have successfully built a Van’s Aircraft RV-12iS – a two-seat, all-metal light sport airplane. Their aircraft will make its public debut during the annual Wright Brothers Wright Flight Ceremony on Wednesday, December 17 at 8:30 a.m. at Wright Brothers National Memorial.
We hope you’ll join us for this milestone moment in local aviation history! To learn more about the event, the FFHS Aviation Class and the aircraft, click here.
