Spokane Countys Cleanup Effort: Private Property Owners Invited to Bring Storm Debris to Transfer StationsSpokane County is rallying its residents to aid in the post-storm cleanup, inviting private property owners to bring their yard waste to local transfer stations. These stations, located on North Elk-Chattaroy Road, North Sullivan Road, and at the City of Spokane’s Waste to Energy Facility, are open from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM. A fee of $66.55 per ton, plus a $3 car fee and a $11 minimum, applies. Debris should be cut into pieces shorter than six feet and three inches in diameter. County road crews are also working to chip and burn downed trees and branches, demonstrating the communitys resilience and the dedication of local services.
