Description
The Spokane Valley City Council has approved a $148.4 million budget for 2026, with $70.6 million for the general fund and $77.8 million for other city funds. A significant portion, $47.9 million, is for capital expenditures, largely funded by grants. Public safety sees an 11.85% increase, boosted by a new safety sales tax. The full budget will be online for public review by Jan 2, 2026.
