The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed veteran offensive tackle David Sharpe to their practice squad, addressing a string of injuries at the left tackle position. Sharpe, a former fourth-round draft pick, brings experience from playing for several NFL teams, including the Los Angeles Chargers. The Steelers starting left tackle, Broderick Jones, is on injured reserve with a neck injury, and swing tackle Calvin Anderson is also out with a knee injury. Veteran backup Andrus Peat is in concussion protocol, leaving Dylan Cook as the only natural left tackle available.
