Steelers Sign Dylan Cook, Place Anderson on IR
Update: 2025-12-11
Description
The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed veteran offensive tackle Calvin Anderson on injured reserve due to a knee injury, leaving a void in their lineup. To address this, theyve signed offensive tackle Dylan Cook from their practice squad to the active roster. Andersons injury, which occurred before their recent game against the Buffalo Bills, has sidelined him for at least four games. The Steelers offensive line is already dealing with the absence of starting left tackle Broderick Jones and guard Andrus Peat, who left Sundays game with a concussion. Cook, who played well in relief of Peat, is expected to contribute more in upcoming games.
