The Pittsburgh Steelers have bolstered their linebacker corps by signing Kanai Mauga to their practice squad. Mauga, an undrafted player from Hawaii, brings valuable special teams experience from his time with the Las Vegas Raiders. He could potentially simulate other teams fullbacks in practice, a role he briefly played for the Raiders. Maugas addition comes as a backup to Patrick Queen, who is currently injured, and he joins three other Hawaiian-born players on the Steelers roster.
