In this series of podcasts I will be exploring how spiritual practice and meditative principles can improve mental and emotional wellbeing. These talks are designed to introduce the practical application of spirituality and meditation, not just the concept or cognitive understanding but advice on how we can pragmatically engage these principles to transform our lives for the better.
Having suffered with anxiety, depression, stress, addiction and obesity myself and subsequently recovered I can attest to the power of these practices and principles to achieve a full recovery and total transformation.
In this episode we are focusing on Presence, the simple practice of focusing awareness on Now and recognise there is no such thing as time. We may initially believe this is too simplistic an approach but ultimately we find the very simplicity of this practice is where the power is found. In this talk I speak about how staying 'Present' throughout the day can ensure we are far less stressed and anxious during daily life, even if that daily life is very busy.
