En: Renata was in Ipanema.

Pb: O sol brilhava e o mar estava calmo.
En: The sun was shining and the sea was calm.

Pb: Era Dia de Ação de Graças, uma data que poucos no Brasil comemoram, mas Renata e seus amigos decidiram celebrar.
En: It was Thanksgiving Day, a date that few in Brazil celebrate, but Renata and her friends decided to celebrate anyway.

Pb: Eles queriam passar um dia alegre, longe das preocupações.
