Summit Stage doubling service for Stifel Copper Cup
Description
The Summit Stage is set to double its service for the Stifel Copper Cup at Copper Mountain from Thursday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 30.
Summit Stage’s bus service along the Copper/Frisco bus route will be doubled in order to support travel to and from the World-Cup event. The buses will operate on the following schedule between Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, and Sunday, Nov. 30:
- Thursday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 30
- 15-minute service between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- The Summit Stage will arrive/depart Copper’s East Village :02, :17, :32, and :47 after the hour.
- Friday, Nov. 28 – Saturday, Nov. 29

Copper has four Summit Stage bus stops, including one in East Village. Anyone traveling on the Silverthorne or Breckenridge routes can connect to the Frisco to Copper line at the Frisco Transit Center.
Overflow event parking is available at the Summit Middle School. Riders can walk from the school overflow parking to the bus stop at the School Road stoplight.
Guests that are planning to drive to the event can park for free in the Alpine and Far East lots. There will be direct shuttle service to East Village via the Black and Purple bus routes, respectively. Skiers and riders can also attend the event or ride the Super Bee chairlift for aerial views of the racecourse. There is intermediate access only from Super Bee.
Guests skiing from Center Village, can access the bottom of the race venue via Skid Road. For more information about navigating the resort or transportation to the event, visit CopperColorado.com.
The Stifel Copper Cup includes four days of men’s and women’s Audi FIS Ski World Cup events. The races are free to spectate in Copper’s East Village. For race schedules, visit CopperColorado.com.
Following the races during the day, Copper will have post-race celebrations happening in Center Village, including free live music from DISPATCH on Friday night and Young the Giant on Saturday night.
Copper will also host an award ceremony on Friday night for the men’s giant slalom and a bib draw for the top-15 competitors of the women’s slalom event on Saturday night. For a full festivities schedule, visit CopperColorado.com.
