The La Vernia Lions Club invites golfers to join them on the greens at River Bend Golf Club in Floresville on Saturday, Oct. 5, for a golf tournament. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with a 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is 0 per person and includes a free meal. This will be a four-person scramble tournament with handicap system.
