CJ and Adrienne speak with two leaders from prominent sustainable campus associations on the opposite sides of the world: Meghan Fay Zahnisher, the Executive Director at the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) in North America and Corey Peterson, the current President of Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS). Megan and Corey reflect on the impact their organizations have had in their decades of work in higher education, address the commonly asked question on how international offices can work with sustainability offices, and their vision for a more sustainable international education sector. Finally, we discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic impacts sustainability work and the road to sustainable recovery.
