This week we discuss a very timely and sensitive subject, for some, as we talk about evaluations. Ken Babey is the head coach of Hockey Canada's National Sledge Hockey Team, a highly decorated College Hockey coach, and one of the newest members of the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame. Ken is the perfect guide for this subject. As a player he played at a high level, as a coach he taught at the highest level of the college game, and as a father he watched two boys make their way in hockey. Ken has a strong belief that communication is the key to the evaluation process. We talk about the role of the coach, evaluators, parents, and the most important part of the puzzle the player.
