EXTRACT FALL IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying,
From every tree of the garden you can eat;
more of the tree of the science of good and evil
you will not eat;
for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.
And saw the woman:
that the tree was good to eat,
and that was pleasing to the eyes,
and covetable tree to reach wisdom;
and he took of its fruit, and ate;
and gave also to her husband,
which ate as well as her.
Then the eyes of both were opened,
and they knew that they were naked; Then they sewed fig leaves,
and they made aprons.
And they heard the voice of Jehovah God,
who was walking in the garden,
to the air of the day;
and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah God
between the trees of the garden.
