"Born in Detroit, house and techno producer Steve Ra formerly known as Ra has been in the industry for just under 20 years. Having performed alongside numerous DJ’s and producers, vocalists.
As a dj Ra has spun vinyl over the years at many underground , house and techno parties and also clubs Motor Lounge, Sky Bar, State Theatre, Clutch Cargo's, Forans, The Works, Numbers,The Old Music Institute 1315 Broadway and Festivals like The Metroplex Booth inside the D.E.M.F ,The CPoP Stage with UFM , 25th Anniversary of Metroplex at the Car Center,Token Lounge, PUSH and many Underground parties such as The Theatre, The Firehouse, Bagley Optical,The Bankle, , Berts Grocer and in clubs like Hamtramck's Motor, State Theatre,
Ra felt spinning records was not enough to feed his hunger so he took on producing. His developing style has that Old Skool Detroit Classic feel mixed with driving beats anywhere from tribal to experimental.
Ra's affiliations and crews he is a members of is Wax Kings, Detroit Deep Sessions, Blend-FM.com, Friends of Friends, former Motor Detroit.
Labels Ra has released with is Snail Juice Records Look Out for his past remix of Indigionous song Bring Back The After Hours along with The Kooky Scientist and Robautomo and Moder8tion remix on Beatport!"

PROPHET ECKS Bio
Founder of the Ypsi DJ crew Wax Kings, Prophet Ecks started out as a vinyl hip hop DJ/turntablist and has gradually honed his technique by watching his fellow DJs play, creating his own style of mixing and scratching with rhythm along the way. After dissecting his favorite hip hop tracks to find all those dope samples, he soon upgraded from vinyl to laptop — the next best thing without the hard work of hauling and searching crates. Prophet Ecks's repertoire also extends beyond hip hop, and on any given night you may hear him spin house, tech house, electro, techno, classic breaks, jazz, rock, or whatever he feels fits the mood.
