protoCall7 Bio

protoCall7 is a garage DJ from the Seattle, WA area. Influenced by the rave scene as a teenager, proto has cultivated a love of speed garage, and house for the last 15 years. Proto has brought his signature garage sound to stages from Seattle to Spokane and he’s one of Techno-Logik’s premier DJ’s.  He’s made an exclusive guest mix and that will be in the 2nd hour.

Army Veteran, Visual Artist, DJ, Event Promoter, and Music enthusiast: 

I’ve spent well over 20+ years watching, learning, and listening to DJs and producers from around the world and especially those here in the PNW. After completing my time in the Army it was time to take what I’ve learned and be brave enough to get behind the decks and show people who I am. I was always a dancer first, using my “ear” listening for cues and transitions from the DJ’s that were playing, doing my own digging in crates and hunting for the sounds that I felt dancefloors crave. For me; It’s all just a mixed bag of dope beats, crazy funk, and tasty old school jam remixes that move your ass. I’ve been taking it all for a while now and rolling it all into a style that's 100% me, and that is something that genuinely I love to play. I’ve partied/ danced to some of the best, listened to the rest, and look to bring my own unique style to the masses.
