The Tennessee Titans are having a rough season, but there is a path to contention by 2027 that is possible if you BELIEVE things can turn around for this franchise. The hope obviously starts with Cam Ward, who has been inspiring the last few weeks along with some of his teammates who can help build things up. Not only that, but there should be some faith in Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi and his ability to draft a team. However, Borgonzi will be judged by the head coaching hire he makes and that is the single most important decision facing this team. Mike McCarthy, Robert Saleh and some potentially to-be-fired options make a ton of sense. Then, the focus will be on how to attack the player acquisition period and the Titans have clear needs to address in the next couple of drafts, but a trade back this year would jump start the entire process. That process can lead to a contending team in 2027 with the potential to be debuting a new stadium and new jerseys. It is a future all Titans fans should be hoping for and at this very moment, it is not impossible.
