In this program, we have a conversation with Shanai Matteson, an artist, organizer, and co-founder of Works Progress, an organization dedicated to bringing artists together on innovative art projects. We met Shanai after the lead-off panel for Plains Art Museum’s Central Time Centric symposium on socially engaged art in the Midwest and heard about the incentives for artists to pool resources and work collaboratively.
