Well, given this is an older podcast, it does look like your assessments are coming to pass. The crypto gang are becoming more politically embedded and the pols want to prop the fairy dust dollar. Since reserve currency status of the petro-dollar is in peril, create the Bitcoin dollar. If works win-win for spendthrift pols and crypto mob that desires control.
