The Butterfly Effect - Episode 4
Description
Join Dr Jo Jolly and I talk about how she finds purpose and meaning in her work at the Infrastructure & Projects Authority. Jo explains how the BALI acronym (more information can be found here: https://youtu.be/oVWQINTJ5-Q), an updated version of VULCA, can be helpful to capture the feelings of living in a chaotic world and consider how to address this, which since 2020, has taken off. Jo shares how she practices gratitude to help manage the emotions of working in this space and how meditation has played its part too. This episode is jam-packed with honest, personal stories Jo shares including the journey to seeing her kind and caring leadership style as a positive. It’s a longer episode than usual but absolutely worth it! Pop those earphones in and take that run whilst letting this conversation sink in! Jo can be reached at jo.jolly@ipa.gov.uk. Enjoy!
